This six-year-old mare is by Ill Be Smart who has offspring earnings of nearly $1.4 million in cutting, reining and working cowhorse events and is a full brother to Smart Little Lena, one of the cutting industry’s leading sires. She is out of a Peppy San Badger bred mare. Smart Lil Winner’s barn name is “Bree”. She is bay, has a faint star along with a snip on her upper lip but no white leg markings. Bree combines beauty and brains!

Kalley, the Atwood Ranch Young Horse Developer, says, “What a nice horse this is! She is very smart, athletic and talented. She has had some sport specific training before I started playing with her. Everything comes easily for this horse. She is very nice!” Bree has followed a cow, done a bit of cutting and ranch work and could go most any direction. Her horsenality is mostly left brain extrovert, which makes her a smart, playful, fast learner, with a touch of right brain introversion on occasion.

Sally Brett from the UK has been assigned to Bree and indicates she “is a beautiful, sensitive mare… She is friendly and good to handle. She has been ridden both in an arena and out on trails and has proven herself to be willing, quick to learn and forward going.”
